Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Computer Vision and Speech AI. Currently at Nobi (AgeTech), I develop life-saving fall detection systems and smart assistants for the elderly. I hold an master of science in AI, where I received the Faculty of Science & Engineering's "Best Thesis" award for my work on action recognition. I also worked as a research assistant during my time in college. Together with Dr. Rico Möckel and a small team of students we built a toy that is able to assess children in pre-kindergarten in a playful manner, while relieving the teachers of administrative burden.

I am driven by the intersection of bleeding edge technology and using AI for meaningful/generally good purposes. I enjoy building high-impact solutions, such as the fall detection and voice assistant systems I currently develop for the elderly people. I work best in an environments that allow me to both research and develop state-of-the-art AI solutions. I also enjoy working on the optimisation of AI models for edge deployment.
